The designer managed to make an interesting game on an off beat topic, the USA - USSR competition to land a man on the moon. The game is short enough that you can play it a number of times, trying different ideas. Its more of a double simultaneous puzzle than an interective game, but the opponents successes do affect you.

Easier and faster playing than Liftoff! although it still takes longer than 60 minutes. I would put the weight at 2.00. Not for the casual gamer; definitely recommended for the space race history buff. Would rate higher if redone with better graphics and player aids.

Quite a decent game. Actually plays quite quickly once you have the rules down. The random events became a little tedious. We thought rolling on every alternate turn might be the trick.

This is a pretty decent game. The rules are clean and the gameplay is surprisingly fun. It plays quickly though a good amount of planning is required. Only drawback is the complete lack of artwork or graphics. Only text here. I think it plays a bit nicer than Liftoff! but I still prefer the latter because the graphical elements add to the game.

Clever game on a very unusual topic; manages to convey the feeling of the competing teams with limited rules but a lot of sophistication and variety in terms of strategy and approaches. Takes a bit longer to play than expected but it sure gets the flavour across!

A couple of counters are missing: Juno II and Vanguard, or perhaps one is supposed to use the Juno and Vanguard I counters...

Good game - great topic. I wish a professional company would publish this!
