Played 2P at GenCon.

The different stock market cards differ wildly in prices $5 to $35 and there is no insight to what price it will be. Call me picky, but this to me is the most problematic thematic element, as it is COMPLETELY RANDOM and can jump from $5 to $35 from one round to the next. Sure, there will be stocks that fluctuate wildly, but in this case every stock can fluctuate all over the place.

The limit of buying/selling 400 stocks in a round and also penalizing for not buying makes it such that a player can't simply buy at $5 wait until it hits $35 and dump everything at once. They have to spread out their bets across the multiple rounds and see what other players are hedging their bets on.

I imagine that the sweet spot for this would be around 4-5, as there would be a larger variety of stocks on the board and there is significantly more meta-gaming trying to find out everyone's interests. My concern would be in a larger game is the amount of group think that will be going on based on what the first player buys, (as that person is also the next to play the Buy/Sell card).

This game is loads of fun. I picked this game up at Necronomicon 2012 and I have been integrating it into our board game nights ever since. The average 20-30 minute playtime makes it a perfect addition to a variety of occasions.

Fast, Fun, and Light Stock Market Card Game !!

It does teach people about how to lose money by making bad decisions on the stock market.

Works fine with 2, but better with 3 or more.

Great graphics. Quality cards, money, box, and microfiber playmat(s).
