I have the IOS version, with all available expansions, and as I play solo, that's sufficient for me and probably won't buy the physical version. Love the theme, game play can get a bit repetitive.

Rating based on 1 play, 4 players. I'm glad we had someone to teach us. It seemed complex and we still got rules wrong and didn't take advantage of key powers of our characters, so lost. Having played I could see this wasn't a game I'd play solo and am already thinking I should sell or trade my copy. I'd like to play again to work out whether this is a feasible game for my game group.

Two words: LEVELING UP! I've been looking for a game that has the feel of D&D and allows your character to continue gaining levels and magical items from game to game. Awesome!

This game is fun because it takes a deck building to a new level. Your character (deck) continues to improve scenario after scenario, meaning you never start with the same old deck again! The adventures get harder too which helps keep it interesting. Great solo game. It does take a bit to setup however.

Color differences between first run (China) and second run (domestic) make it hard to play this game.

Reveal a card, then read about the check. Determine how to modify the check, then roll the die. Reveal the next card, look at the next check, roll the dice. Reveal card, roll the dice. Reveal card, roll. Reveal, roll. Reveal, roll...

Sorry, but there just isn't enough meat to it for me that I'd consider this a great game, this is just a string of dice roll after dice roll after dice roll. See, it's very repetitive. You can't come up with some imaginative ways of problem solving like in real role play, and instead are limited to overcoming the odds of the roll again and again by just a standard dice roll. I'm not that impressed by it.

Suberb game!! Scales nicely. Played 2 player and five player. Exciting and tense. 5 player game went to the last blessing card and the team work, planning that went for the win was amazing and felt like a RPG.

Would recommend this to anyone who likes RPG's, card games computer games board games...just get it!!

Dropped to a 9 as its a bit easy.

Dropped to 7 as its getting a bit stale...shame

Raise to an 8 as its very good solo.
