A notable difference from other Neil Thomas books is in scenarios: 10 historical scenarios are included, in addition to 5 generic scenarios.
I have this. It looks interesting. I enjoyed playing it. One big thing missing: clearer rules summary and writing my own? Quite enjoyable.
The army list and scenario system is top drawer.

Excellent set of rules.
Simplicity and elegance. These rules are the last iteration of the concepts that Mr. Thomas has developed and refined in the sequence of books: Wargaming: An Introduction > Napoleonic Wargaming > Wargaming Nineteenth Century Europe . With some imagination, it is not hard to extend the rules to cover the ACW and even backport them to the Napoleonic period. The table space needed is just 4' x 3' Superb achievement!
