Advanced Tobruk System Basic Game I: Infantry

I have tested this one too but finally made my call for ASL.

A good idea. The Pieces and map are very nice. The rules are too short, I think it might be difficult for a new gamer to figure out how to play. Would work much better if an experienced ATS gamer was showing a new gamer how to play.

Basic Game 1a is a tad better. Still, a good introduction to ATS.

This is probably the only ATS release out of print that will never get back in stock. Some scenarios were re-edited for the Hot Stove Pack #1. It's a pity, I like it more than BGIa and was/is my first choice to introduce new players to the system.

The first in an introductory line of simplified ATS titles with the sole purpose of teaching new players the ATS system at a cheap price. It comes with a generic map and three scenarios, one of which is a free download from the Critical Hit website. Features all infantry combat, and the play is fast and fun, even for veteran ATS players.
