Really simple, fun wargame, with cool little alien bits

One of my 8 yera old's favorites. It's probably a 9 for him.

I was very impressed with this game. I had heard great things and wanted it mostly due to the rarity of finding a copy. I was not disappointed. The game is a very light area control game with a lot of battling going on. It feels much more like a euro game than a war game due to the victory point system. I loved the secret mission cards. My girlfriend loved the little creatures (they are really well-made).

A fun area control/ameritrash dicefest game. Humans are at the bottom of the food chain in this one. My only complaint is that depending on how the exploration tiles come out, one player might get a huge advantage if they aren't distributed evenly. Controlling the monolith is somewhat unbalanced also.

This is a game for the guys. There is confrontation and struggle.

I like this game. I like the bits. I like the duration of the game.

Best thing to hook up people on boardgames. Champion to number of plays.
