Who Starts This Mess?

I enjoyed this game very much, & can't wait to see the finished art.

Great trick taking game with a lot more strategy than you think. To describe it, it's a trick taking, point salad, mixed with drafting game.

Rating goes up to 8.2 due to finally winning at the new revised ruleset and denying the designer another victory.

Gotta love that.

Great deal of strategy in this trick taker. The card drafting phase combined with the multiple paths to victory points open up many possibilities.

Learned this from the designer at Geekway 2014. I really love trick-taking games. This bears some similarities to [url=http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/155/was-sticht]Was Sticht?[/url] in the drafting of your hand of cards (which the designer acknowledges). However, it adds playing for tiles that are worth points (with order and amounts visible from the beginning of the game) as well as a few other options for scoring. Definitely an interesting take on the trick-taking genre. If I had people I could play this with more frequently, I suspect the rating would go up. [06.25.2014]
