Early-war scenarios are generally pretty interesting, although a couple of these are a bit lop-sided.
My rating is for the game, although I found the articles really interesting. The game is a Pedro Ramis design, and that's enough to buy it without hesitation. I played the first scenario, featuring a glider-borne assault on Albert Canal bridge. It was a blast. Highly recommended.
Além de vários artigos interessantes e um jogo básico completo, inclui, também, dois cenários para o módulo "Scotish Corridor".
Some of the articles are too technical for me, but the included game is worth the price of admission!
The article on line of site is excellent.
Six scenarios featuring the Belgian defense, loss and attempt to recapture of the Albert Canal in May 1940. A monster scenario (using both maps and running 20 turns with lots of units) for Scottish Corridor is included. My ranking is for the six Albert Canal scenarios which are pretty interesting. The briefing includes rules for glider assaults which aren't included in the main ATS rules and provides a play aid showing glider loads. One of the scenarios includes two Belgian tanks. These scenarios are a nice change of pace from the late war scenarios which aside from Advanced Tobruk itself, make up the majority of the games in the system so far.
Anything ATS is good....hunger for more.
Good information and well written despite a few layout issues. The scenarios are great for early war study.
Nice scenarios that introduces Belgians, Fallschirmjager, and gliders. Unfortunatally, the game is marred by the chopped-up "basic-lite" rules (hence the '5' rating). You will need the full set of rules to enjoy.
