Another great C&C Expansion. Marian & Julian Legion rules are excellent!
But remember how the Cannae scenario in the base game is a historical mess? You have one in this game as well: Vercellae. You play that one 100 times and you'll never get close to the historical outcome. You'll have fun, but nothing else.
Otherwise, a fine expansion. Many great scenarios and a lot of bang for your buck.
Barbarians kicking Roman butt? Hell yeah!
Two expansions in one box, quite a bargain.
Now stickered, see private info for piece allocation.
Chariots can race around the field and evade but somewhat brittle, still, great fun and nice to try something with a different flavour.

More of the same from C&C Ancients.
Excellent value for money, with a great selection of (mostly Roman-focused) scenarios, and more than fourty new battles in total!
Sadly, the first four Epic Ancients scenarios which were included in [thing=29853] C&C:A Exp. #3 – The Roman Civil Wars[/thing] were removed from this release. While they can be found online, they are no longer available in any official capacity.
All plays logged under the [thing=14105]base game[/thing].
Late to the party, so this is actually the first expansion I purchased, but I really like it. Very few extra rules, but lots more scenarios and variety. Very worthwhile expansion.
