Juegazo eurogame, que funciona muy muy bien tanto con jugadores noveles como jugones. Colocación de trabajadores, parte de juego de mayorías, y diferentes modos de conseguir puntos, ambientado en la conquista y colonización de América. No tiene ninguna relación con el juego de PC. Tienes que buscar ciertos combos y te tienes que centrar en ciertos aspectos (colonización, descubrimientos, economía) ya que no es posible abarcarlo todo de forma óptima. Me hice con la nueva edición y genial todo lo que trae. Muy buen juego, excelente de mecánicas y componentes (quizás las losetas de edificio el grafismo podría ser más claro). Escala perfecto de 4-6 jugadores, y con la expansión añadida en la nueva edición: 6o jugador, poderes asimétricos para todos, y un nuevo especialista. Uno de mis euros favoritos con diferencia

This is just a very pleasant game to play. Fortunes might ebb or grow, but there is always stuff to do, stuff to invest in, there's the element of out-guessing your opponents' priorities. After some debate at the table just yesterday about the luck factor: I think this is really well done - you are only tempted to push your luck when undertaking discoveries; but even there, you can always play it safe and send 5/6 people to ensure you win through. It takes a while to play, sure, but it just works really well. Afterwards, you go home (or to bed, in case you are home) knowing that you played a game, with decisions and whatnot.

Terrific game with a very cool stuff. I have really enjoyed the gameplay at first sight and, at the end of the game, I have felt that I would needed play it again. It is now one of my favourites.
