Fightin' Fungi

Song of Blades and Heroes Next. Love the original. Fightin' Fungi expands it and upgrades it.

I thought the SBH rules would be too random, but they are quite interesting when you get the hang of when to take risks and when to play it safe. I would like fewer defensive abilities, and I don't like the reaction system from the advanced variant...but I like the core dice activation system.

Also, I adore fungus.

The predecessor to Advanced Song of Blades and Heroes, FF also includes some world-specific stuff. If battling mushrooms isn't your cup of tea, get ASBH instead.
