Gronk is a nice pick in Skull & Shackles due to its large concentration of plant and animal banes. Not sure I'd use him in any other set. And with [url=https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgameexpansion/238458/pathfinder-adventure-card-game-ultimate-equipment/mygames/collection]Ultimate Equipment[/url], he's good to go.
Undoubtedly, the other droods are also enjoyable. But overall the class deck is weak, so Ultimate augmentation is probably necessary.
