Have 2 sets. Not played long ago. I have some good and some terrible memories too. If you play it, play it with expansions (at least Knights).

Catan (or rather Settlers of Catan when I last played it) is just played out for me. It replies too heavily on luck which can cause massive unbalance. I sold all of my Catan a few years ago and I have no regrets about that.
