A pleasant "pick up and deliver" game with the interesting twist of trying to time your refueling and maintenance stops optimally.

The game is designed to prove that every commercial fleet manager should buy Mercedes' "FleetBoard" system. If you're not in that target market, consider giving each player a FleetBoard from the start of the game.

I received my copy from Joe Huber; thanks, Joe!

Excellent game - Auf Achse without the auctions. Yes, it is an experience game, but it involves pick-up-and deliver with a few logistical twists. Want one!

FIRST IMPRESSION:

Not sure I would ever want to play this without the Fleetboard being in play from the very beginning as the cards would make life miserable in that case. Reminds me somewhat of Auf Achse which is more readily available but this one does have significant differences as you manage fuel, engine wear, and brakes. The cards do add a bit of chaos and randomness to the game.

My rating is provisional in that it assumes a lower target score can be found which

A) makes the game a reasonable length (with the target of 8000 for 4 players it took 2.5 hours)

and B) makes buying a FleetBoard a real decision - as it is you definitely want one as soon as possible

Otherwise I think the game is good - I really like the movement system. The cargo valuation is a bit odd.
