Very good miniatures rules, simple and elegant with "only" four page of reference sheets. The scale is 1:20 (a battalion with 36 figures is very nice to see...). Compliments to the autor. He's keep the rules simple with the scale 3 times bigger. The firing phase is not simultaneous, so is very important the initiative... The best napoleonic wargames I ever played. For me better than: Empire, From Valmy to Waterloo, Legacy of Glory, Republique, Grande Armée, Shako, Lasalle, Le Feu Sacrè, Napoleonic Principles of War etc.

Average game, slightly boring, take it or leave it.

Best tactical combat system I know but weak in command and control

A decent set of rules that plays in a reasonable time.

Takes a while to get down all the modifiers and turn sequence, but once you get it down, this is a great set of rules. Charges are a little fiddly, but the command and morale systems make up for it.

Update -- bumped this to a nine after playing several excellent scenarios in a row. This rules set really does excel at putting players "in the weeds."
