New territories and a huge pile of new factions ensure that TEK will get a lot of replay value, since you'll enjoy how these different races' abilities function through the game. Those would make it worthy of a purchase alone if you like the base game, but then of course you've got the Heroes themselves, which let you customize your experience even more, adding a new track and new conditions for interactions out on the territory boards. With all that, it's just a knockout expansion, and I'd always play with it, even when teaching.
