Pax Renaissance: BGG Promo Pack

pretty uncontroversial little pack of five cards. adds a bit more content without substantially affecting the game otherwise.

5 cards is quite a bit for a game that packs so much into each card. The promos together with the expansion do help balance the decks (one or two regions were under represented before) and are fun in and of themselves. Fun but not essential. If you love the game you will want it though.
