4/5 House rule to update the land system to Duel Masters, Marvel Champions, etc... rules for a more streamlined strategic experience = less luck.
The first Magic expansion and possibly the best. I still beat myself up over buying Fallen Empires (because it was cheaper) instead of this. It is one of my few regrets in life.
First expansion and true to the background story. Players get to summon some incredible cool creatures and bring in exciting lands. You can really feel the strong thematic dimension here.
Early top-down design set, the only one with a non-original setting. A bunch of crap and situational countermeasures, but also lots of classic cards. Most Kaja Foglio: Bird Maiden. Honorable mention: Dandân.

Sweet memories.
thematic!
Contained some very powerful cards (Library of Alexandria, for example). Much sought after, so I have sold almost my entire collection of this expansion.
