Most satisfying space combat game I've played. The detail of fed com but you can teach it in 15 min.

After years of owning the Starfleet Battles minis and not playing, I got a chance to see Galactic Knight rules at play in May 07, and decided I had to have it. The rules take full advantage of the design of the minis, and they just feel right in play. The drift mechanics are simple to comprehend quickly, and make it a very interesting game to play, making decisions on limiting or taking advantage of drift during the course of the game. I also bought the Entomolian module, and can hardly wait for the Carnivoran module release later this summer.
A nifty space fleet combat game from a very small publisher. I tried this out at a convention and for the most part, it was a lot of fun. There are certainly some rules idiosyncrasies, like daisy chaining opportunity fire or the really weird combat rules for fighters. The movement and vector drift systems are awesome though, one of the best and most playable inertia representations I have ever seen in a space game.
It's a pretty good set of rules, although you might have trouble finding opponents, as this one is pretty indie.
I really want to like this game, since I've been collecting the miniatures since the '70's.
Try and find an opponent: Go on, I dare you.
