Betrayal at Baldur's Gate

Never played the original Betrayal, but this re-theme drew me in right away. I'm always excited to play this one, though it can be a bit steep if you're introducing new players and they're lucky enough to become the traitor. Also... the traitor often has a very strong advantage. This is especially true in lower player count games.

A fun twist to Betrayal at the House on Haunted Hill. Enjoy the fantasy dynamics woven into the core concept of the original game.

The D&D setting will not appeal to everyone. But I feel that the designers really learned a lot from the mistakes they made in the original Betrayal at House on the Hill. For example, they made it impossible to get a haunt on the first omen revealed. Also, all of the characters each have special abilities, which helps you feel a bit more unique and empowered, rather than just some human weakling.

Good, but seems like it wasn't playtested enough, or something. There's a lot of unanswered questions in the haunt scenarios, especially compared to the original Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Betrayal Legacy.

A newer Betrayal. It's okay, I guess. You're basically just along for the ride and don't really make any decisions, you just see what happens.
