Base map works great with 6, never played with 7, seems to drag with 8.

CW plays very well at 6, but start to degrade at 7 players and beyond.

The game does not scale up to that many players well. Way too much downtime, limited interaction with many opponents, and uncontrollable involuntary kingmaking.
