not enough exciting decisions to make. weak implementation of plague system

An excellent design that seems like a straight forward worker placement/movement at first. Messina quickly reveals how multi-layered and intertwined the different subsystems are, and there is plenty of flexibility with how you can set up satisfying combos. I found the theme surprisingly well integrated with the mechanics, and easy to get my head around as a result.

Ran out of steam very quickly on multiple plays for us - but the first few were interesting.

Excellent game. Takes 55 minutes with 2 players, it is one of the most thematic euros we have played, and the way actions can be chained together is very satisfying. It does not look very impressive, but it plays very smoothly. At first, setup will take a while, but once you learn the steps of preparing the next round, this ceases to be a problem.

Is a solid, good game. It takes a bit long but is enjoyable. The thing is it does not differentiate enough from other really very good games so in this day and age is left in the shelf for almost ever.

Good new Suchy game, a little lighter than recent designs. Fun engine-building, lots of opportunities for chaining moves. Well-integrated theme. Simple, positional worker-placement actions. Will definitely play again!

What I like about this game are those hard-to-see combos that you don't know about, until you do.

Great artwork, it makes this complicated-to-score game enjoyable.
