Deeper than it seems at first. Nice components too. Better than both Cascadia and Harmonies.
How do you make a game about coral reefs, one of the most vibrant and colorful places on Earth, so boring?! It's so disappointing to look at considering what this game could have been. And given how thin the mechanics are this game really doesn't have a leg to stand on... or fin or whatever.
Very cute. Good family game, but I would recommend Azul over this which has a lot more player interaction.
An interesting game with great tactile components.

Nice puzzle game.
In the space of Splendor and Century Spice Road enters Reef - lovely, tactile components, breezy game play with a bit of thinky planning. It's another winner if you up for that type of game (which I generally am these days). The decision space is sufficient and the mental struggle of combo plays ("I have to do this before I can do that") is interesting, challenging, and fun! It's a race game also because first color that runs out ends the game - players basically determine the game length. Very good over all.
I love how the scoring works in this game. Pretty unique with the strata of how they score everything at multiple levels.
