Maximum Apocalypse: Gothic Horrors

The core loop is still great but: vampires are fun enemies but their missions are too much about scavenging which can turn into a boring slog; cathulu monster's mix of very weak cultist and very beefy horrors is cool. but too long missions mixed with an unpredictable insanity deck which has phobias that are very difficult to get rid off just lead to some very frustrating moments where to much agency was taken from me. I dislike the ronin-character, the only one I don't play with anymore.

I really like the priest, an amazing and interesting support character

Haven't played with the day/night-cards, or the yokai yet

The yokai ennemies is the most interesting deck of the serie, in my opinion. Vampires are good, too. I find the Ronin a little broken (so much damages!), and the priest is excellent and quite interesting to play.

Tons of replayability.
