151117 I do wanna revisit this variant, among other things I heard JC likes it.

100513 Hard to tell if Jing likes it...I think it still needs to have the extra players to add a little confusion. Dummy players seem to look better on paper than they do in practice. To be honest, after one play of China with 3 players....its not worth it. If you don't have 3+ don't bother.

DIY. Actually this 2-player variant plays better than the base multiplayer game.

Not a bad way to play a Great Area Control game with 2.

Much deeper and complex version of China. A LOT of options and things to consider while playing this one. Enjoyable, albeit longer and more taxing than 3-5 player China.

Not bad. In our game, roads played a large role in the endgame, while emissaries were barely a factor at all. However, the Emperor ran out of houses several turns before the end of the game, so he had to place emissaries.
