Adventure Island

A lightweight Robinson Crusoe like game. Can be luck driven sometimes, but overall i had a fun time playing it.

Nice choose your own adventure, cool story. But the rules are unclear in several places, two times the card numbers are assigned twice, very confusing. We played through the story once and dropped the strict rules to finish. Most annoying is the card setup after and before a session. Would rate it higher with better rules, the idea is great.

Great so far but the rules have mistakes galore!

Better than Tainted Grail!

Lost my update but better than Andor, the mechanics the theme and easy they tiev together!

This game is a mess. Doesn t even work in game theorie.... "In 4 piles find card x to get pile y to get card z and so on... in the last level you play against all probability finding the exact right cards + winning all the dice rolls -> even if you know how to progress the game (because you´ve lost before) it´s pure luck What is more not even the story telling aspect is worth it -.-

This game was my greatest disappointment of 2018, so bad, I asked myself who the hell playtested it... ?!

I really wish this game gave some sort of "escape room" type hints as the the path/actions you take to reach your goals. But it does not, so repeatedly bumble though the scenarios until you find the correct choices.. Which is a bit of a grind.

Reasonable, but unfortunately slightly forgettable, resource management and survival scenario game that tries a little to be a little like 7th Continent or Robinson Crusoe and really compares negatively to both. On its own merits, it's not a BAD game, and it's certainly not an overly complex game, it just never quite hits the sweet spot that you'd want in a game with that sort of theme. I'm sure we'll play it again soon, I'm just not sure that my mind will change about it.

Too Easy game. Boring!
