I love playing it :)
Super fun after one plays a few times to get familiar with the attributes of the characters. Picking the "ammo cards" in the chamber to out smart the other players is the most fun.
We have a closet full of games - Rushin' Roulette is now our family's new go-to game. It produces lot of laughs and lots of family bonding. No one gets upset and we cheer each other on. It is also a good game to play when you don't have much time. And it is small enough to take with you when you travel. We find that it is also a good way to break the ice when you meet new friends. Our whole family would carve out time in the weekend just so we can play the game together. Sooooo much FUUUNNNNN!!!!!!
Wasn’t sure what to expect with this game - was originally drawn to the art work. What we found was a very thoughtful and well put together card game that is age appropriate for kids but also has a fast paced strategic elements for adults. We’ve played it at our local bar with friends - one round even turned into a drinking game. Your character gets shot - you take a shot! Strong recommendation on this one.
A fun quick play! So many good games take a long time so this is a great short one. It’s deceptively simple and easy to pick up but the ordering of the characters and what cards you play have good nuance as we’ve played it. Sometimes a game is only 5mins but sometimes it goes 10-15, partly depending on number of players. My kids (Age 9) like it, too.
This game is easy to pick up and play. It’s got really cute animation and an intuitive game flow.
There’s an element of chance that makes the game exciting and not repetitive, but there is also a good deal of strategy and mind games you can play with your opponents.
The different characters are really fun too, they make each game really unique and one of the things I enjoy most is trying to get the most out of their abilities.
The game is long enough to be engaging and have long term strategy, but not too long either, so nobody gets stuck being bored while they wait for a round to be over. That’s one key strength of this game.
Also, the game is also just hilarious. Tons of crazy stuff can happen and the tables can turn so suddenly. So you can expect plenty of riotous laughter when playing the game.
Well made. Easy enough to learn. Cute art. Can play even with young children, as long as at least one person in the group can read. Fairly quick games once you're familiar with the deck. The learning curve is much like that of Fluxx - slow games at first while everybody reads all the cards, but once you're used to them, the pace picks up.
As with poker, much of the game is random, so a beginner could beat an expert first try, but it's not absolutely blind luck. Some strategy arises by playing with the same players - knowing who always tries to keep a blank available, or trying to establish a reputation and then exploit it. There is an element of memory to the game - you'll have an advantage if you can remember what cards you've seen and where they were placed.
Solid light filler, Player elimination has a chance of causing someone to retire early, forcing them to the spectator's bench for quite a bit of time, especially at higher player counts. This is further reinforced by random revivals and possibility of "ganging up" on a single player. If you don't mind all the above mentioned, solid game to play with a casual crowd.
