Victory: World War II – Second Edition

Classic-style Block Wargame using WW2 era units in a hypothetical world constructed using geomorphic map segments. Fun to play hidden units and fog of war against your opponent. The game is well-balanced, so can end up taking a long time to play as both player's struggle to gain the upper hand and meet the victory conditions. The A-Bomb is a favorite unit of everyone I know who has played.

Victory is an excellent game. The simplicity of “fog of war” and “hidden movement “ with a block war game raises one’s enjoyment of the game to new heights. If you have never tried a “block war game” and you enjoy operational level war games, take the plunge with Victory 2nd Edition.

Simply my favorite Columbia Block System wargame. The fog-of-war is a must in any pre-modern wargame. The combat system is vastly innovative over normal counters.
