Combat Cards

Full disclosure: One of the designers is a former member of my gaming group.

Imagine a cross between Dominion and Rock-Paper-Scissors and you'll get the gist of what's inside this homebrew game. It's fundamentally a simple guessing game of playing a card to attack your opponent hoping that he won't have outguessed you and be playing the matching blocking card. There are some simple deck building elements and more powerful cards need one (or two) preparatory plays to become usable. The computer-generated artwork has been borrowed (with permission) from Second Life. Nothing here is going to change the world, but it's above average for a home produced game. Magic, Race for the Galaxy or Dominion it certainly isn't, but it deserves a market among those who take games less seriously than BGG members do.
