Cage Match!: The MMA Fight Game

Super quick 1 on 1 fighting game that does a decent job of mirroring an MMA fight. Simultaneous action reveal and some light dice chucking, and the 5-10 minutes per game is spot on. Rules could be a bit more clear, but after working it through the first time things made more sense. If you're not familiar with MMA fighting, some terms could baffle you. Looking up results after every action selection is necessary and causes a little lag time, but should improve with more plays.

I decent enough little filler with a basic mechanic of "rock, paper, scissors" wrapped in an MMA blanket. The ground game side of the mechanics seem very half baked but workable in most instances. Other than the "instant win" with a submission, the game works pretty well.

The quick, simultaneous gameplay feels like an intense 1v1 fight. The short game length is perfect for this style of game.

My card system still feels great, not changes needed at this time. Did discover we were doing focus a little wrong in the game, it's a little more thinky (which is a good thing).
