Century: A New World

Nice, step up from the 1st in the series. The worker placement and bumping works well in this. It would be a suitable gateway for the mechanisms and just in general. It's good fun but runs on just a little too long with 4 players for my liking. The only other minus with games of this ilk is the randomness but nothing to take too seriously! Played well with 2!

Best among Century trilogy.

Solid and entertaining -- my worker-placement-intro game of choice. I can't decide which Century I like the best, but all three are pleasing, simple, and introduce common gaming concepts to new gamers. Great gateway games and a very worthwhile addition to your collection.

A nice game to play with friends. Not too complex not to simple with various strategies without being overwhelming for new players. Plus the tactile enjoyment of coloured blocks!
