Nice game, not so complex as the rate in bgg indicates. It is thematc and puzzly, in a very good sense. It is easy to forget to take cars and some other little rules. I have played only a few games, but it might happen that I get tired of it soon, since it is a bit repetitive and part of the game is maintenance work. I do not like the art too much, pictures are too simplistic and small, as from a high school kids. And the components are not anything special, I do not know why they call it “deluxe”.

I like playing it but its got a bit of a stumble in its giddy up. This causes a little difficulty in taking the rules in, but once you have the rules down it's a pretty beautiful game both in play and in components.
It also helps to get an insert to tame said components, now getting this to the table is easy peasy.
This was a really fun experience and really captured the hospital theme well. I can't imagine any other theme it can be so that is a sign of a well executed theme. There is a lot to think about in this game as you only have 3 rounds each game and every aspect of how you build and execute matters. You have to juggle getting patients with the right kind of doctors, nurses to help treat different colored patients and/or doctors, other staff to make it more cost effective to run. There are tons of ways to build whether you go for 1-3 buildings and how many levels up in your hospital you go. There is a cool conveyor system to make movement more efficient. It was also interesting to see that you purchase points in the game with the money you earned in that round only, while keeping some in reserve to help pay for future expansion. If you keep too much back you won't score that, while scoring too much, you won't have enough to grow. There are 3-5 types of treatment options and 4 player ability buildings to make each experience more unique. That combined with different starting position layouts means each hospital will need to be built differently. The time track is really interesting as you quickly want to make movement as efficient as possible because you lose some big points at the end if you use a lot of time moving around the hospital. The cars are the bane of existence and take up so much space and add so much theme to the game with those being the most difficult to manage. Initial rulebook was lengthly and took some time to learn but definitely well executed. The symbology and Ian O'Toole work here is incredible as always and mostly referenced the board the entire game. Initially movement seemed like it would take a long time but in fact it all happened rather quickly. Even the business aspect of collecting the money then paying expenses I thought was going to take awhile but also went quickly. The game was great at two players but I could imagine it would run really long with more players just because of all the little steps and thinking time. I think it took us 4 hours our first play, 1 for the rules, and 3 hours to play with added thinking time each turn. The only thing I would change is I wish it was a little more supersized because the people and cars are tiny and there is a lot of stuff to fit in a small area. This means lots of bumping and fixing of the pieces but I didn't feel like it was overly fiddly by design, just by using the game as you will knock things over. The board itself is proper size except for the fact that you need to stand the people up to read the prices and you will knock those down as well. The card supply is kind of cool as well except everyone wants them to be perfectly parked so it ends up taking more time then dumping them down. I think it is really easy to forget a car as well and that is not really by lack of effort on the games part as it is written and reminded everywhere. I think you just get caught up on getting patients and staff that you forget. Luckily you can count the pieces on your board fairly quickly and fix any car situations. The time special power building feels especially powerful on the first play because it is the easiest to adopt a strategy around while the others require some careful planning to execute well so I do wish there was some beginner and advanced ones so all new players were on the same level without having to understand how to min-max a specific building on first play. There are also some additional expansions in the box and a solo variant which I really appreciate and can't wait to play at some point. The box itself is unique with a sleeve that slips over it which is something I haven't seen before. Probably the best hospital game I have played and maybe even one that simulates trying to run a business.
Good game, but for complex multiplayer solitaire, I would always rather play feast for Odin or newton.
Crown of Emara is about the same level of multiplayer solitaire fun as this, but I can play it four times in the time it takes to play this
买的全扩,结果大家只玩了基础,四个人都不想重开 没有什么特别有意思的设计,但是建设规则又很细容易村 玩到最后差点懒得算分
As a solo game, this is a fun puzzle. As with other Alban Viard games, it's really an abstract with a theme gently layered over it. Yes, you're treating patients and need parking, but at some point it really is an abstract with cube-pushing. And it feels like that. But that's okay! It's a fun puzzle!
