Amonkhet (including Hour of Devastation) strikes me as a solid but unspectacular set. The underlying design of the block seems to support flexible archetypes that interact with each other to provide sufficient deck diversity. Things are perhaps a little more subtle than Ixalan, with some synergies emerging from surprising areas, but I am not noticing the myriad directions that the buildarounds in Kaladesh supported. Drafts are about on par with my Core Cube, and actual play is about the same as a good Battle Box, all of which I currently rate a 7, so that's what Amonkhet gets.
