Fury Football

Great alternative football game. Solo is fun and fast. haven't played it against anyone yet, but looks like it will be great - lots of decisions to be made.

An entertaining, easy to learn alt-sport game from PLAAYNOW.COM. Plenty of teams available to purchase, as well as a PNP version. Fun and easy to get to the table.

The best of all the futuristic Football games. Really easy and fun to play. The WFL 1972 football remix set is a must as are all the expansions !

Enjoy this quite a bit as a solo game, running little elimination tournaments between the teams. I think it would prove even more fun face-to-face with a group of players, hope to try that sometime.

Abstract approach to football, lots of fun

Co-designer and artist here, so I'm admittedly biased. That being said, this game is great! Even as someone who's not interested in traditional sports, I find the fast action and dramatic storylines that Fury Football generates to be big fun to watch. There's something captivating in watching the underdog team try to upset the tournament favorite, and with each team having a unique style and personality, you'll quickly find yourself picking a favorite and rooting for them.

The head-to-head play is a blast as well. We played a 24-man tournament at PLAAY-Dot-Con in 2019 and it was a huge success. The games play quick so it's easy to get through a lot of matchups, and by the time we got to the grad finals everyone who played was gathered around to watch the final match. It's an awesome memory, and one of the highlights of the convention for me.

Whether your a sports fan or not (but ESPECIALLY if you are), give this game a try if you're looking for a fast, fun, and unique solo experience.
