This scenario book really exceeds my expectations. Although it’s made for Fear God and Dread Nought, I use it with the Naval Thunder rules and it could probably be used with any set of World War I naval miniatures rules. It’s got lots of extras: an introductory article comparing each nationality’s fleets, sidebar articles, a naval chronology of World War I, photographs on almost every page, etc. Each scenario includes its location, operational and technical situations, environment, and opposing forces, orders and victory conditions. They also each give the setup with a map, any special rules, the historical outcome in detail, and many of them feature variations. Also each scenario gives a reference to the “best” book on that action. Not counting the variants to the historical scenarios, there are also five completely hypothetical scenarios included - so there are over 40 scenarios in total. Outstanding bang for the buck!
