The Drums (fan expansion for T.I.M.E Stories)

The good solo implementation tips it toward the better end of the fan scenarios I've tried. It certainly wasn't as memorable as the official offerings. But I wonder if that's not just a product of gaming without a group.

I really enjoyed this. Creating a scenario specifically for a solo agent (especially at this point in history) was a stroke of genius. Colin, as a game designer, always has a knack for really clever game mechanics and interactivity--The Drums was no exception. The graphics, the story, and the concepts were all top notch. Very fun!

Played in one sitting, under 2 hours from start to finish.

For the time, this is a great scenario! It's not as long as the multiplayer ones, and yet still has the exploration conundrum of depth (exploring every location thoroughly) or breadth (hitting every location before TU's up).

This is a great fanmade scenario, with good artwork, good story, and good environmental tension (a [i]must[/i] for a horror story!), and I'm happy to have played it. Especially in times like this, when I can't meet up with a group, it's great to get in a good "experience" game like this.
