I like the trees, but why is the obvious hero to use with the giant spiders an ever larger bug?

If you pick up any expansion, you need this one. The trees and bushes change the layout of the average game and make the terrain look that much better. The spiders are useless, but the trees! Oh my!

Great expansion, the trees are awesome.

This terrain expansion doesn't give you the most content of the options (and at this point, you should really proxy the trees rather than spend $150+ for them), but it's a great addition overall. The trees look amazing and really bring battlefields to life, and they also grant bonus defense to melee forces against ranged attacks as they develop with good placement.

In comparison to the other terrain expansions, though, this one simply doesn't change the game enough on its own to really elevate it for me. The effect is fantastic for tournament metas, but in terms of scenarios and versatility, the trees simply don't have the same draw as the massive glaciers or imposing castles, nor the same generic appeal of the evergreen trees. Coupled with the fact that the Fyorlag Spiders are so cheap, you really want to own multiples of this set for it to make a big difference on the game, unless you exclusively play in certain formats. It almost feels like this should have been included in Swarm of the Marro to a certain extent, based on how much it adds to the swamp terrain.

This looks sweet.

Have two sets of this, the trees and shrubs are great, elevating any map's appearance, instantly.

Good idea to get a couple of these (while you still can!)
