This expansion replaces the Intruders with the nefarious Void Seeders. These aliens are all in your mind and will slowly make the characters go insane.

As much as I loved the original Nemesis, so I hated this expansion. First, it is far too confusing for my taste. Yes, your character is being driven mad throughout the play, but it's you who is going to get confused all the time and stay hunched over the rules and forum feeds all the way through, which kind of kills the gameplay. The new rules overhaul quite a lot of the original mechanics and turn the game into something schizophrenic rather than claustrophobic and paranoid. Even Mansions of Madness with its terrible randomizer are more straightforward and some more complex games such as the Spirit Island make you stretch your brains in a way more pleasant way. Also, I would not recommend playing it with more than three players as you would produce too much noise and get too much damage. Now that I think of it. I would not recommend playing it at all. The original Nemesis is a masterpiece. This one is also a piece, but it's not proper to say a piece of what.
If you play A LOT of Nemesis, this might be valuable for you. The Void Seeders are quite a different threat from base game monsters. But many still prefer to mostly play with the Intruders. Not a must at all.
