Enjoyable light card game, loose combination of the classic War and Stratego, but with enough difference to be a unique game unto itself. Pleasant flavor. Moderate replayability. Short play time makes it a good ice breaker for 2 person game night or while waiting for others to show up for a larger evening. Plays up to four, but best with 2.

The battle for Jerusalem! Sultans and Kings: the card game captures the essence of this historic conflict. Scrutinize the game for some awesome details. I recommend it to any strategy games enthusiast. Go for it!

A MUST HAVE! Sultans and Kings: The Card Game is a brilliantly-made strategy card game set at the time of the Crusades.

Thanks to its several modes of play, and an included Mission Cards pack, it is fun for beginners and youngsters, yet could be complex enough for the initiated- leaving them thinking about new tactics and strategies for days...

Each player will have to strategically deploy their “Army” and “Strategy” cards, to conquer the most territories and/or achieve their mission. Learning the rules in 5’ or less is quite easy: a well-written/illustrated rules booklet + a Cards quick guide are included in the box, and online videos are also available.

Unlike most other games in this category, there’s no way to accurately predict your opponents' final cards even in a 2 players game! Three face-down cards are not revealed until the end of the game, leaving numerous tactical maneuvers possible which could completely turn the tables!

The 4 players modes could be played both cooperatively (2x2 Crusaders vs. Saracens) and competitively (separate colored decks for each player). The fun is guaranteed but it did leave some grudges between the most competitive players... that is until the next rematch of course!

High replayability – this game has the perfect amount of a luck factor to ensure a completely different experience every single game.

It has elegant graphics that transport you to the Cities and Castles of the Levant. Although it doesn’t affect the gameplay, the striking historical accuracy, subtle witty details and fun facts are definite a plus!

The quality of the material is excellent - bright colors, high-definition illustrations, intuitive card designs and formats, durable, and comes in a nice portable sleek box that would make a great gift.

The Card Game is based on the Sultans and Kings: The Board Game, a second edition was recently announced, and it’s definitely on my wish list!

Overall, a lot of rich and fun content that made Sultans and Kings: The Card Game, a great gift idea, a necessary item for travel, and more recently, stay-at-home orders, and an all-time favorite for any quick game setting,
