Vanilla game is meh after all, but Downstream expansion makes it better set collection game.

Beautiful, fun to play, peaceful, interesting, Meadow is fantastic for two.

Played once, 3 player, with the river expansion.
Thoroughly enjoyed it but think I'd enjoy it more another time by playing just the base game.

Cleverly designed tableau/set collection game, low-confrontation, family friendly, harmless, easy, I prefer it over Wingspan. The kids love it and it looks great on the table but it seems to run a bit long, like 90 minutes or more, 45 minutes would be much more enjoyable.
