Game with a wacky universe, very interesting mechanics concerning the use of portals and the reappearance of loot boxes on the board. The board is very cool with these pieces that give relief to the terrain. The playable characters during the presentation of the Spiel Essen 2024 show already have a story of their own and it makes you want to discover the rest of the game!

Another lame attempt at a battle royale board game. Unimpressive and anticlimactic.

Initial impression from TTS play during campaign. Similar to Adrenaline, map movement and pinging folks for points. No significant penalty for dying and no player elimination. Looked through the weapon, armor, and loot decks. Didnt see many bonkers powers and the loot card variance is really low. This is likely to be a somewhat dry points race.

Played the preview at Spiel and it was a super cool and interesting experience.

The general idea is a battle royale where you collect lootboxes to gain equipment. This equipment can help you beat up other players more efficiently. Though equipment does expire, so after 4 turns you'll be losing that sweet sweet gun, but who knows maybe you can get a better one before the others?

Points can be won by either battle or the contract system they call "feats". the last person to accomplish such a feat will get the points.

The game itself is incredibly silly and non-punishing. There are lots of little interactions between weapons and weapon abilities and if you feel like an ability of one weapon would suit another weapon, you can upgrade that weapon and actually combine their abilities.

Of course where there is battle, there is armor and as such, armor can only protect certain parts of your body. equip a helmet? only your head is protected now!! but you can equip more than one piece of armor to protect your sensitive fleshy limbs from getting blown off.

This fits super well with the dice that purely gets rolled for combat and determines which part of the enemy you hit. they have armor there? tough luck

A game that is super fun, very silly and very casual. Only thing i find sad is that they have no plans to release a retail version... so really it's "back now or never get it", which i find a bit sad.
