2024 / Print & Play Version
I haven't played this in years, so my recollections are sketchy, but I liked how euro this game was and how many dimensions I had to stretch my mind to perform well.
You need your people in the right place at the right time and not a moment sooner or later.

I have a prototype of this game. It's complete, but I'd buy a printed version of this game if it was available. This game is great.
Game shows alot of promise. Minimal luck, easy to learn. Could be a little more in depth, but that'll come with time I think.
I would play this again. There's some interesting large-scale strategy in trying to build us chains vs. I don't know what exactly, so going for doubloons vs. shipping. I like that, even though I don't have much of a clue as to how that overlays the scoring system, where the values of certain events are apparently huge compared to the two points at a time you can get by moving into new territories. Does it even make sense to pay attention to that? Well, the fact that I'm asking is a point in the game's favor.
Chaotic area majority game. The pre-production version I played had poorly designed board that made it hard to read the regions at a glance. I came in way last at a table of four (I think they liked it more than I did).
