Crystal Palace: The Newspaper Cards

Excellent free promo. I would always play with this as it is much more interesting than the old newspapers; I find it can direct/change your placement of die in order to get the bonuses as some bonuses can be very nice/timely/powerful. Only drawback is the cards can be uneven in how they work for your situation vs. another player, and the cards aren't all balanced. Hopefully this gets a professional publication and look forward to more content for this solid game.

Print and play expansion that makes the newspapers more interesting.

The cards are a nice addition, yet they are very situational and therefore quite random.

I'm not a fan of this mini-)expansion: it's already hard enough to get things done in this game, now you also need to be at certain locations (with a certain number of dice) to get rewards from those newspapers. So you'll need a bit of luck that the newspapers you draw match with your plans.

I certainly prefer the classic way of how newspapers work compared to this mini-expansion.
