It's a themed version of Spades. Declare the number of tricks to win, standard trick taking, get points for being exact, overbids get bags. The only real difference is that it allows you to up your bid once you hear what others are bidding. The rules are obfuscated by being slavishly devoted to thematic terms and are obscure on some key points. Cards within each suit are ordered by colour so you spend all game having to remind yourself how to sort them rather than enjoying the play, which slows things down. I mean, just play Spades.
Best trick taking game ever created, IMO. Strategy is unique and changes DRASTICALLY with number of players. Modular format allows for all skill levels to play on even playing field, and easy to learn! Great game to add to your weekly card night, and lends itself well to tournament play.
Played a few test rounds, super fun trick-taking game. If you like the classic Euchre or Spades you may find yourself hooked.
I came across this game on Tabletop Simulator. It's the one and only trick-taking card game I've every played. It was easy to learn and easy to play. I never thought I would enjoy it so much.
At first, I thought it will be one of those brainless fun games where it depends mostly on your luck, but it surprised me in many ways. I really enjoy the different types of strategies I can use to bring corruptions to one of my friends, the predictions and decisions I have to make to keep the balance of my influences and corruptions, not to mention the guessing game to determine what cards are in your opponents' hands or if the person is working with/against you, etc etc.
The community itself was an added bonus.
Simple fast paced game, with a depth of strategy. Very easy to pick up and learn, hard to master. You could play with a quite group or full trash talkers.
Amazing ame, fun mechanisms
WOW
simple rules but great gameplay with many differing strategies and tactics. the creators are heavily involved with the built community on discord.
I won a deck of cards in a pre-Kickstarter tournament and they look amazing, the style and artwork are mantle worthy.
Bought as a Kickstarter, what seems a standard prediction of tricks to win card game has a couple of interesting wibbles like the penalty for not meeting your prediction and the penalty for going over your prediction, so you should be bold but not insane or too timid, there is a fine line to walk resulting in a very enjoyable game. The designers should be very proud of their creation.
