The new abominations are the standout inclusions in this set. The characters are nice but some are pretty broken but fun if you don't mind that part.

39 new survivors, 40 unique zombies (including 9 abominations), some new weapons, and a bunch of cards and components to go along with them. Includes a unique rule for each zombie from the Daily Zombie Spawns. Adds a ton of replayability to the game.

All of the survivors and abominations are celebrities / known figures or pop culture references.

The Daily Spawn zombies with their unique rules add a fun twist, but the game can get complicated if you throw in too many at a time. If you prefer to keep it simple, you can just use them as alternate art zombies.
