Las rules version of this particular game and a huge load of up to date, accurate data. Very nice counters, too!

Command at Sea series by Larry Bond. It must be good for it to come so far. The publisher claims it to be the biggest, most comprehensive thing we have ever published. Adding this item to any wargamer's library appears to be an honourable act...:)

Three books cover the naval forces of Great Britain and her Commonwealth, Germany and France. It is simply the most complete and accurate information on the World War II navies of France, Germany and Great Britain to be found anywhere... and comes boxed with the most complete and platable set of World War II naval rules ever published.

I am a bookworm...so the more the pages the better...but I doubt I can find the time to play them. Rating given here is very much to the completist view. In fact, this is the first in Command at Sea series in my book. But I am glad to collect all the OOB and data about the 3 most important fleet information during WWII.

Read the Jumpstart rules first. They make much sense and give you a clear idea of how the game system generally flows and works. I can say the rules relate to the real naval combat environments closely. It really gives me a sense of an Admiral commanding a battleship on the high sea detecting possible enemy nearby and sink'em. I got and played Silent War. It is a very cold calculating game. I hope Command at Sea series can be much more up close and personal.
