Victory Tank

Move, attack, move attack... wait for the game to end... sell the game.

2021-11-20 : First play. Oh, a WWI game with a cute Renault FT-17 tank, tell me about the mud, barbed wire and trenches. Uh, there isn't any of that. Machine guns and going over the top then ? Nope. At least front lines, pushing back the enemy, tanks exploiting gaps and breaking down ? Nope. But it has crates which magically appear and you can capture for a point. At this point you're probably wondering why you're playing this and so was I. Zero WWI feel. It's an abstract with a variable terrain, some fixed objectives and one moving : a cute FT-17 which frankly saved this game from a "2" rating.

Excellent little game. In the first few rounds, things are still quite relaxed and it may be hard to define a clear strategy. But in the last few rounds, the game becomes increasingly more intense. Really a surprising game and a definite recommendation for people who value tactical two player games with a sandbox-like character.

Great thematic game with fun fog-of-war mechanics and a 1v1 battle element. Fun game for a short while.
