The Vanishing Gambler is an excellent choice for a game night with friends or for solo play. While it has its share of minor inconveniences and puzzling moments, it offers numerous highlights that make it a recommendation. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it with my friends, and I'm confident you will too.

Loved it! Best escape room game I've played, hands down. The quality of the components and the emerging narrative that it delivers is exceptional. Can't wait to play the others in the line.

Found this one immensely disappointing after Ghost in the Attic. Exasperating leaps in logic at some points, unclear morse code signals and HEAVY reliance on online materials which weren’t well structured. It was just a bit of a mess, with an incredibly boring and generic overarching story as well. Nice components as usual but the puzzles were a bit of a dud overall in this one (and a bit of a slog at points too).

Loved this game / mystery / puzzle! Played it over New Year’s Eve and the whole group was riveted… and extremely drunk… so we had to finish the game off two days later after the hangover subsided… and we loved it even more and got to complete the game…HUZZAH! Now onto the next game in this series, the ghost in the attic!
