This is a perfectly fine entry level game. 7 Wonders is my #1 game and this has limited similarities. I come back to this game because set up and play are so simple, you can finish a game in 15 minutes (at low player counts). The box inserts are one of the best of any non-ks game. However, it takes up more shelf space than it is worth for its replayability.
Only this high because my son really likes it
Super light 'My First' version of 7 Wonders. The cost to these is usually something like a good amount of luck and that's what you see here. The card draws are random though there is mitigation and lots of ways to get extra cards. Saying that, it is a good game and really quick. Suitable for families.
A family game, that never needed a junior version, now has a junior version. Yay?
almost 0 decision making here.
Blah ugh puke. Forgettable crap, in my opinion. They took everything interesting out of 7 wonders and still dare to charge 40 bucks for it!
Extremely limited decisions, there are only three cards to choose from and one of them is a blind draw. Might be good for complete board game beginners, but won't be interesting for anyone that has already played the previous 7 Wonders games.
