Hougoumont: Key to Waterloo 18 June 1815

Rules were one too opaque and fiddly for me. This was supposed to be an updated clearer version of Decision Game's system for games set in the late 1700's early 1800's. I didn't find it to be that way. Traded away.

I have played twice, a big French win, followed by a very narrow and hard fought for French win. This release has the newly presented rules, which for the most part are exactly the same as the old, they have just been given an extra page (5 instead of 4) to be better explained and organised.

The CRT is new, it works in the same way as the old, but it has been tweaked.

Hougoumont is an interesting tactical situation, with the main benefit that it can be played through in a short session, so is ideal for a midweek session or a vacation game.
